We picked a three-day Merzouga-Marrakech tour (with one night in the desert) and it was fantastic! We stopped at every possible turn along the route and shared many stories. The pricing was quite reasonable (for students).
We were a party of eight people, and others joined us to share the experience. There is a lot of travel in three days, but the landscape, hosts, and activities all fantastic.
